A few months ago I started playing around with logstash, ElasticSearch and Kibana. These are excellent tools and are most definitely my favourite way to view and analyse log data. There is an easy to follow tutorial for getting a basic setup here (Elk on Digital Ocean)
I decided to write my own tool which I've dubbed "" that allows the importing of scans directly into elasticsearch. I have seen this done in better ways but the way I do it with this tool perfectly suits my use case. Along with this I've also added in a directory brute forcing tool, this can be great for information gathering about a range of targets. The wonders of elasticsearch allow the sifting through of data with ease.
I've tried this out and it has proven very effective on different targets of varying sizes. I hope people aren't stupid with this and I strictly recommend that you do not scan networks without permission. Another suggested fun thing to do is importing data from Scans.io There are endless areas of exploration with these tools. Be good.
