I have always been very fond of doodling and scribbling absentmindedly. I filled most of my Leaving cert books with nonsensical sketches and images. Recently I came across an Image in my room I drew a while after I had a fever. I had very strange vivid hallucinations and woke up in a cold sweat. I remember pushing myself to try draw the images.
I love this image and that's probably why I have kept it so long. I manipulated the image to look more like the images I recall from the fever. In the past I have also played around with making music. I found this track on an old hard drive called "pitch.mp3" since both are as weird as each other. I present to you my "art" piece entitled "fever pitch". I suppose since both of these came from weird scenarios and are equally creepy they seem to work together. A childhood obsession with the Silent hill games may have taken it's toll on my mental health ha!.
