Well, a Month has passed and I haven't updated my blog at all. It has been a very busy month for myself. I visited Wacken music festival in Germany back as the month came into fruition. I also got myself some contract work with the Irish Health Service Executive & Ilam. I have learned many new great and wonderful things!, I'm sure I have forgot a bunch also...
As this is the information age I shall be of course redistributing any wealth of info I have come across during the month. I attempted this but as I was busy most of the time I never got around to finishing it (Is that a good enough excuse for failing to get past level 5). It was very enjoyable and I learned from this great capture the flag. I wasn't arsed doing a write up since I never finished it, also, I'd only be copying the couple of hundred people who had the same idea.
I have noticed my blog does tend to be orientated loosely around my interest in web security. I have also noticed how often my blog posts are about Cross site scripting, all I can add is that I enjoy exploring the web and such things. So don't hold it against me, it's a really interesting area and I don't get to study it enough in college so this blog here is my outlet.
What new things have I learned about Xss? Don't frown, I know you want to know. Google chrome fixed that known bypass of their url based xss protection. It still works when there are multiple get queries though! I found a very interesting twitter feed also with almost daily updates. There are some very interesting ones.
I should also hopefully be attending This conference in the next day or so. I completed the for a free ticket. I have a project to finish so it may be a while before you have another mundane blog post from myself.
